» Launch of New Packaging of Tata Wiron
Objective of New Packaging Standards:
The packaging standards introduced in 2004 on the occasion of "Wiron" brand launch was in need of clear visual distinction between various usage groups.
Accordingly the team on packaging deliberated and after various trials and focus group discussion, adopted the new standards for GI wire.
The 'poultry' , 'farming' , 'barbed wire/chain link' and 'redraw' segments have now a distinct colour each with the label giving the desired description of usage and other identity parameters.
The Launch:
In a simple ceremony , Chief, Wire Div flagged off the first truck followed by Chief of Operations and the President of the Union. In his brief address, Mr. Rajiv Mangal stressed the importance of extending "Wiron" identity to packaging at first level and on to the wire thro' inkjet print at the next . Such innovation will ensure that the consumer gets genuine material at various stages of sale and the incidence of spurious materials will reduce.
Communication: The changes have been communicated to our channel partners in a colorful leaflet with the caption: "Rishta Wahi,Andaz Naya". Our distributors ,some key customers and the agency staff were present on this occasion which was efficiently conducted by Mr. D O Chavan and the team.
