» Free Medical Check up Camp organised by Global Wires, India

On 16th July 2011 free medical check up was organized by TMRCT Hospital (Tata Steel is the Trustee of the hospital) at Tarapur for the Local Community people with support from Global Wires, India. Camp was specially organized for diabetic and orthopedic patients.

Around 150 people got checked under the camp from the nearby villages. Dr. Ashish Roy and Dr. Prerna Roy of Global Wires took initiative to carry out this medical check up camp.

Apart from Doctors from Global Wires, other officers of Tata Steel, Mr. B.D. Patil (Sr.Manager-HR/IR), Mr. R. Suryawanshi (Associate-HR/IR), Miss Shraddha Desai (CSR Coordinator) and Miss Helen Parker (Project Trainee from Cambridge University, London) also immensely contributed towards the success of the medical camp.
