» GLOBAL WIRES ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Date: 17th & 18th May 2010  |   Venue: Tarapur

The Annual Conference serves as a forum where all senior executives across functions of the various GWB units get together to discuss on the last years' performance, understand targets and initiatives for the new year, debate on the means to achieve the targets and share best practices. Each of the CEO's of the GWB units presented their units performance and plans for FY11. This provided a perfect platform where different cultures can bond together.

This year the Annual Conference had executives from Wuxi China, SIW Thailand, Lanka SSL Sri Lanka, Dr Sanjay Chandra from Technology Group, Sanjay Sail from ISWP and Rajiv Ranjan, Anil Jhanji and Shuja Haque from Foreign Offices in addition to executives from TSWD India. Parallel discussion sessions were held on International sales, Supply Chain, Finance & Treasury and Operations and Technology. Discussions with Mr. TV Narendran (Chairman, Global Wires Business Council) to discuss about the way forward for Global Wires also took place. All executives were taken around to see the new facilities at Tarapur and understand their product capabilities.

The 2 day discussions ended with a cricket match where the Chinese, Thai and Foreign Office executives participated. A tree plantation ceremony was also organized on this occasion.
