Global Wires,India safety Excellence journey has been recognized by the Government of India. Global Wires, India completed 1000 Days without any LTIF incident

 

The Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, conferred the prestigious “National Safety Award” for the performance year 2009 to Tata Steel –Global Wires,India as Runner-up  in the category of   working one million man-hours and more  & based on lowest average frequency rate.

 

Mr.Mallikarjun Kharge, Hon’ble Minster of Labour & Employment, gave away the award at a glittering function held at Vigyan Bhavan , New Delhi on 29th November 2011.  Mr. Sunil Bhaskaran, EIC –Global Wires received the award from Honb’le minister . Mr.Shyam Sunder –COO and Mr.Sudhir Kasargod – Sr.Manager-Safety accompanied EIC during the award function.

Global Wires, India awarded with “Best Safety Performance Department”

 

Tata Steel – Corporate  Safety –  awarded  Global Wires,India  as “Best Safety Performance Department”  during the Annual Safety Symposium and Exposition  held on 25th Nov and 26th Nov.2011 at Stelinium Hall. 

 

Mr.Andrew Page – Group Director –Safety , Tata Steel  gave away the awards  on 26th Nov.2011 which was received by Mr.Sudhir Kasargod –Sr. Manager  -Safety , Mr.P.G.Tamondkar –Manager –Safety along with Union Committee Members Mr.D.G.Sankhe, Mr.Ajay Dekhne and Mr.D.N.Malaviya.

 

Also on 25th Nov’11 Mr. Sunil Bhaskaran- EIC Global Wires Business, gave a presentation on “Transforming Work place Safety at Gobal Wires” during Safety Symposium & Exposition at Stelinium Hall Jamshedpur.
