Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI) - Mumbai Chapter had organised the Quality Circle Competition on 28th August at Mulund, Mumbai.

Five teams of Global Wires, India Operations participated in these competition & won the following awards :

1. Wire Division received the "Appreciation Memento" for our efforts to " Improve Qualitative and Cultural Metrics through Quality Circle movement ". 


2. "KOUSHALYA"  Quality Circle(QC) of Tarapur Wire Plant -2 has won the "GOLD" award.


3. "SAGAR" QC of Tarapur Wire Plant -1 has won the "GOLD" award.


4. "INDRADHANUSHYA" QC of Tarapur Wire Plant - 1 has won the "GOLD" award.


5. "TPM - SHEARS" of Wire Rod Mill (West) of has won the "GOLD" award.


6. "TPM - ROLL ASSEMBLY" of has won the "SILVER" award.


7. Mr S S Sawant of Wire Rod Mill (West) has won the "1st Prize" for essay competition.


8. Mr B D Chauhan of "INDRADHANUSHYA" QC of Tarapur Wire Plant-1 has won the "2nd Prize" for Hindi poem competition.


9. Mr D P Gawad of  "INDRADHANUSHYA" QC of Tarapur Wire Plant-1 has won the "2nd Prize" for Hindi slogan competition.
